To escape the heat visit the Museo de Malaga

If you are looking to escape the summer heat why not visit the Museo de Malaga and cool off while learning about the city’s rich history that dates back to Palaeolithic times. Located in the Palacio de la Aduana – the old Customs House, the museum also houses a collection of Spanish Fine Art that includes work by José Nogales and Pablo Picasso.

If that was not enough to make you want to visit one of the best museums in Spain, the rooftop terrace restaurant offers unprecedented views of the city.

During July and August the museum is open in the afternoon (except Sunday) and like most museums around the world is closed on Monday.

Summer Hours:  Tuesday to Saturday 9:00 until 21:00 and on Sunday from 9:00 until 15:00.

Admission: Free for EU citizens, 1.50 euro for others.
